Jayden Fenrich
Jayden earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Minot State University in 2011. She then went on to achieve her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2013, also from Minot State University. Over the last 9 years of her career, Jayden has served preschool and school age children with speech and language disorders in the school setting. In addition to working as a school-based speech-language pathologist, Jayden has also provided private speech and language therapy to toddler, preschool and school-age children for the past 7 years. Jayden provides therapy tailored to each client's specific strengths and needs in a play based approach, in order to assist them in reaching their communication goals. Additionally, she is passionate about forming relationships with families and school teams to collaborate and provide functional, meaningful therapy and learning for not only her clients, but also their caregivers and staff who impact them everyday. Jayden loves how rewarding it is to help clients and their families reach their communication goals!
Jayden's primary areas of interest include working with toddler, preschool and school-age children in the following areas: speech sound disorders (articulation and phonology,) early language development/late talkers, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS,) language disorders, and autism spectrum disorder. Jayden holds various certifications and trainings, such as Hanen Learning Language and Loving It, PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System,) and trainings related to Childhood Apraxia of Speech, such as, Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC.)
Jayden is a registered member of the Saskatchewan Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (SASLPA,) Speech-Language Audiology Canada (SAC,) and the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA.)
